CAPS meetings are scheduled on the second Friday of selected month.  The meetings consist of a social hour starting at 6:30pm, Program or Speaker at 7pm followed by a meeting at 8:00pm.

Fri - Sep 10	Laurel Park 11120 NE 68th St., Kirkand	"The Birth of "Ocean Watch'" -- Phil Riise, president of Seaview Boatyard discuss the transformation of a tired 64 foot steel sloop into "Ocean Watch" the vessel used for the Around the Americas expedition that is currently underway.  See Cruising World (April 2010) for details.  The voyage can be followed on the expeditions' web site:  www.aroundtheamericas.org.  The expedition left from Seattle, traversed the Northwest Passage, sailed down the east coast of North and South America, around the horn and is currently in Costa Rica.
